Alena Johnston Invited to Join The Theodore McMillian American Inn of Court

Baker Sterchi attorney Alena Johnston has accepted an invitation to join The Theodore McMillian American Inn of Court as an associate.

The American Inns of Court is a prestigious legal organization dedicated to promoting professionalism, ethics, civility and excellence among the legal community. Founded in 1985, the organization includes federal and state judges, lawyers, law professors and law students. It currently has about 30,000 members across nearly 400 chapters in 48 states, the District of Columbia, Guam and Tokyo. The organization’s mission is to advance the rule of law through education, mentoring and leading by example. Membership is by invitation only, and each local Inn of Court has its own criteria and procedures for selecting new members.

Johnston, based in Baker Sterchi's St. Louis office, focuses her practice on premises liability, personal injury and insurance coverage. She is a member of the Women Lawyers' Association of Greater St. Louis and serves as a volunteer legal instructor at the American Legion Auxiliary Missouri Girls State, a leadership camp for high school girls centered on American government, politics and law. Johnston earned her law degree from Saint Louis University School of Law and is admitted to practice in Missouri.
