Baker Sterchi Member Jim Jarrow Speaks on TBI Claims in Trucking Accident Cases

Baker Sterchi Member Jim Jarrow joined a panel speaking on issues related to traumatic brain injury (TBI) claims at a recent ALFA International Transportation Practice Group Seminar held in Rancho Verdes, California. The panel discussion, titled “Managing the Stealth TBI Claim,” covered trends in non-catastrophic trucking accident cases, plaintiff’s tactics in pursuing those cases when there are few or no symptoms, and defense strategies to be considered in countering the rising wave of such claims.

Located in Baker Sterchi’s Kansas City office, Jarrow’s civil litigation practice is primarily focused on the defense of personal injury matters for the transportation and retail industries. He is an experienced trial lawyer, having tried well over 100 cases in his 30-year career. A co-chair of Baker Sterchi’s Trucking Practice Group and a steering committee member of ALFA International’s Transportation Practice Group, Jarrow is admitted to practice in Kansas, Missouri, the Supreme Court of the United States, and the Eighth and Tenth Circuits of the U.S. Court of Appeals.
