Megan Stumph-Turner to Serve as Panelist at ALFA Women's Initiative Seminar


On October 23, Baker Sterchi Member Megan Stumph-Turner will serve as a panelist at the ALFA International (ALFA) Women’s Initiative Practice Group Seminar in New York, New York. The session, “Guiding is More Than Guidelines: How to Mentor Young Woman in the Legal Profession,” will discuss how to be better mentors, what a mentor should offer a mentee, how to balance expectations with the mentee’s workload and personal obligations, and more.

Stumph-Turner is based in Baker Sterchi's Kansas City office, where she focuses on civil litigation in areas such as creditors' rights, financial services, real estate, construction and commercial litigation. She serves on the Steering Committee for ALFA’s Women’s Initiative Practice Group and Business Litigation Practice Group and is currently president of the Earl E. O’Connor American Inn of Court. Recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for her work in real estate and commercial litigation in the Kansas City metropolitan area, Stumph-Turner also frequently participates as a panelist and speaker on trends in financial services and real estate litigation.
