Jim Jarrow to Speak at GKCCA Fall CE Educational Event

On October 10, Baker Sterchi Member Jim Jarrow will present “Mastering Claims Defense: Reptile vs. Mongoose Strategies for Adjusters” at the Greater Kansas City Claims Association (GKCCA) Fall CE event at Lockton Companies in Kansas City, Missouri. The presentation will explore strategies for countering the Reptile method, a legal tactic used by plaintiffs’ attorneys to make jurors feel that a verdict in their favor will help protect the community from harm.

Based in Kansas City, Jarrow primarily defends personal injury matters in the transportation and retail industries. With a 30-year career, he is a seasoned trial lawyer with a track record of trying over 100 cases. Jarrow serves as a co-chair of the Baker Sterchi Trucking Practice Group and a steering committee member of the ALFA Transportation Practice Group.

Founded in 2012, the GKCCA’s purpose is to promote and support claims handling as a professional discipline.
