Maloney and Sterchi Lammert Recognized with 2024 Diversity & Inclusion Award

Baker Sterchi Members Jennifer Maloney from St. Louis and Megan Sterchi Lammert from Kansas City have been named among the honorees for Missouri Lawyers Media’s 2024 Diversity & Inclusion Awards. The list includes one law firm, two law firm diversity, equity and inclusion committees, 12 attorneys and three DEI professionals.

Maloney and Sterchi Lammert are co-chairs of Baker Sterchi's Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee. Under their leadership, the committee's primary initiatives include recruitment, retention and education, as well as external community and organizational involvement.

Maloney advocates for businesses and insurance companies, focusing on premises liability, product liability, personal injury and transportation matters. She co-chairs Baker Sterchi’s Product Liability Practice Group, served as president of the St. Clair County Illinois Bar Association and actively participates in the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis and the East St. Louis Bar Association. She is also a member of the prestigious Product Liability Advisory Council. A 2020 Missouri Lawyers Media Up & Coming honoree, Maloney earned her law degree from Southern Illinois University School of Law.

A 2022 Missouri Lawyers Media Up & Coming honoree, Sterchi Lammert is a civil litigation attorney who defends personal injury, premises liability and product liability cases. She is a steering committee member of ALFA International’s Future Leaders Forum, Product Liability & Complex Torts and Women’s Initiative Practice Groups. She earned her law degree from the University of Missouri School of Law.

The annual Diversity & Inclusion Awards recognize attorneys, firms, organizations and legal professionals who significantly advance diversity, inclusion and the dignity of all people in Missouri’s legal profession, and in communities where exceptional legal work impacts justice for all.
