Benevides and Friesen Contribute to ALFA Hospitality & Retail's 2024 Compendium
Baker Sterchi Members Jon Benevides and Kehl Friesen, based in Kansas City, contributed to the Missouri and Kansas sections of the 2024 Compendium of the ALFA International (ALFA) Hospitality & Retail Practice Group. Both Benevides and Friesen are steering committee members of ALFA’s Hospitality & Retail Practice Group.
The Compendium provides a 50-state overview of various topics, including mandatory arbitration provisions, regulations governing gift cards, subscription services, and loyalty programs, as well as provisions for safeguarding consumer credit card or other private data, and regulations concerning the collection and handling of financial information.
